US $1.00 is equal to a days pay for a teacher or police officer in Siem Reap or PP. Most who watch this have no clue about Cambodia or the 'scams' of using children to sell items or beg. Giving money leads to a life of begging. Buy items if you wish but don't pay the equivalent of US $150-200 for a flute that should cost a few US cents when converting US dollars to the Cambodian riel.
