Thank you for this it is awesome information. I just ordered mine. That rubber stop that slips over the docking station connection will be the first thing gone. Of course they cover their six by calling it "semi sealed".

Yes, it is ip52 rated , so not fully sealed. A shower of rain would generally not bother It... It you use the docking station regularly, take the rubber stop out and keep it aside. The work anywhere kit is also a good idea to keep it clean... Enjoy your purchase...

does this have the touch capabilities? and whats the price range $AUD for this type of tabletpc?

The Motion computing tablets include a Wacom pressure sensitive Active Digitizer, so they require a pen. They are not touch enabled, but touch is generally not a huge benefit to the types of deployments that we use them in. The 7 hour battery life and Hydis AFFS+ screen make it very compelling without touch.
