Sailaway from Alexandria, Egypt

Recorded October 31, 2009.

The video begins on the road in Egypt as we approach Alexandria during the setting sun. Later in the evening the Royal Princess sets sail bound for Venice, Italy.

I am thinking of taking a cruise to Alexandria Egypt. I was wondering if you could share your thoughts about the cruise and your experiences, Also what you thought of Egypt, and the documentaion you needed for your cruise and info would be greatly appreciated.. thankyou

@lucymilliken The cruise was great and so was Egypt. I took a 2-day overland excersion. We left the ship in Port Said and drove to Cairo. Saw the city, pyramids, museum, Nile River cruise and spent the night in Cairo. Joined back up with the ship in Alexandria the next day. Everything was great, but would like to go back to Egypt for a longer visit. The only document I needed was my U.S. passport. That may vary with other cruise companies and nationalities.

I was in Egypt for 2 days. Left the ship in Port Said, spent the night in Cairo, then returned to the ship in Alexandria.

ThankYou for your info... I was wondering where you caught your cruise out of? the only place I can find is to fly to Dubai and board the ship there. surely that cant be it..?
