Myanmar dissidents are watching the suffering of their compatriots with anguish and anger. Many activists from the 1988 student protests in Yangon now live in Thailand. Some are organising aid relief for victims of Cyclone Nargis while others are talking about a revolution.

  • The cyclone is finishing what the gov't had started...eliminating people for their lands. That's the only reason why they won't allow help to the outlying villages...the junta wants them DEAD!
