Wow. Just WOW.

Geweldige uitvoering!

Maria... It is so haunting..... I always wondered what Maria did to evoke such a beautiful and dark atmosphere.....
an ethereal nightmare....
The "one hand lifted up to God" sample.... is that Winston Churchill? The line is so oddly placed... it adds to the chill of the song!
I too have an affinity with "The Boy with the Gun" as someone else stated. Such strong imagery in the Beehive songs!
Thank you for posting this!

This is the best song from David Sylvian's entire career, solo or Japan included.

Superb!
I thought this was the highlight of the evening in Manchester.
THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR POSTING THIS!
Why can I not buy this commercially. Goddam it it frustrates me so much, I wanna scream.

Tell me about it. I've always been the worst forecaster of what will become popular, but sadly I've learned that's a good thing.

this is how I always imagined this song live. I was into this album in 93, living in Oakland, the boy with a gun is the best song on the album, the boy with a gun I always have a strong association with
ted huges and sylvia plath. and plath taking up riding again in out side of london, and now david sylvian is also in exile like her but the other way around in America.

Have you seen the video for The Boy With the Gun made with black & White images? It's a must-see. The user's name is Accabadora.
