i am sorry. but i gotta say that you are wrong. laplanders are not eskimos, they are saame and are related to siberian hunters. allso the leaving of old people was only done in extreme cases of famine and was not practiced by saame. saame are not inuits or eskimos. they are related to finns and karelians. i am sorry but you are stereotyping one instance witch happend in one tribe of inuits in alaska long time ago in a time of extreme famine. that is not part of inuit customs.

Sounds like he's teaching from James Rachels "The Elements of Moral Philosophy". Rachels rejects Cultural Relativism as an ethical theory but says there are lessons we can learn from it.
Thanks for your comments. This recording is from an unknown professor of philosopher somewhere in Miami. His course is based on Rachels, Glad to hear of the correction.
