During 2009, Böker offered every month a special edition knife (except the first one they were limited to 140 pieces) to celebrate their anniversary. This is the november one: a perfectly finished high-tech tactical/utility folder.

  • Thanks for the good video(s), Mr Dagon :)

I even bought this knife after watching this video, and I'm really impressed of the good quality. It's my first, but definately not last German made Boker knife !

  • I also like my compact Turbine 2 quite a lot. I made video watch?v=2vcAhNT0nk0 about it. And you should check out the Titan Defender, Titan Hunter and Titan Worker. I don't have any of this series but they are truly awesome: very sturdy yet beautiful linerlocking knives with plenty of titanium.

  • Whoa, did I hear you say, "...too many knives..." is there such a situation?

  • Tactical made pretty, another great review.

  • @MrDagon007 I have even ordered two Klotzli knives after watching your reviews. I have to thank you again for making these videos of knives that are not so well known, like Klotzli.

  • One my fave EDCs is the Boker Turbine 2, also designed by Pohl. It's exactly the right size for general carry and well made. The Turbine is its big brother, and while nice it's also too big for EDC.

  • @MrDagon007 You are correct. It is indeed a Dietmar Pohl designed knife. I only will buy a German Boker. No others.

  • I think that the Gemini is indeed an good product. It's a Dietmar Pohl design, if I am not mistaken...

  • @MrDagon007 I have a Boker Gemini which is my current EDC. It is a quality German knife.

  • I think indeed that it's a refined evolution of originally the older Walter Brend design that Böker produced. It was called the Böker Brend in the late 1990s, and it is in essence almost the same model. That older model already looked good but it seems that this modern ultimate edition is quite a bit better regarding finish and lockup.
