@fullysikhdesi doesn`t break the wood or anything like that but if your dhol is painted or varnished then the varnish will come off wherever you hit it

@Jaz9216 shesham and Kachchi Pakki Taali and amb. sheesham and kachchi pakki taali are the most popular because of the quality but keep in mind the wood that these dhols are made of are actually from the same tree it`s just that sheesham is from the bottom of the tree where the wood is much more denser

hey, i've heard people tell me that u shoudlnt hit the top of the dhol as it breaks and chips hte dhol or whatever, so yeah...is it alright to hit the top?
