On the Third Day of the Once in A Lifetime Experience, we toured Mesada, which was a palace created by King Herod in the 1st century BC. It is truly historic place, and is particularly significant in Jewish history as the place where in 72 AD, it stood as the last Jewish settlement that fell to the Roman siege. A sad story, as all the people inside the settlement killed themselves, choosing death over slavery.
I made sure that they new the Spartans had arrive, as I yelled a familiar phrase into a cliff that gives quite an echo!
