One of Tito Puente's last presentations before his passing, he appeared on this segment of Americanos: Latino Life in the U.S. produced by Edward James Olmos. The New York segments were co-produced by Aurora Communications with Aurora as a consultant on the film & appearing here at this Bronx Casita singing alongside the King of Latin music in a little number she wrote for this section. Look close & you will see Ricardo Marrero in the background on the cowbell as well as Luis Rodriguez on cuatro, Ray Martinez on bass & a members of the Casita playing along. Look even closer and you'll spot a 6 year old Nelson Matthew Gonzalez, Zon del Barrio's timbalero today, on the "cua" during the bomba segment.
