President Obama kept his promises and bankrupted coal plants, increased electricity rates, and increased gas prices, leading Vice President Biden to say he "thinks our energy policy is the best it has ever been". VOTE NO on Obama's failing energy policy.

Even back in 1989, when "Sim City" was released, people knew one thing: YOU DO NOT EVER BUILD THE COAL POWER PLANT. Yes it's cheap, but it pollutes like hell, and that still reigns true today. "Clean coal" is nothing more than marketing propaganda; There is absolutely no such thing. Not to mention, it leads to classless, careless, ignorant people like Robert Murray depriving over 150 Americans of their jobs - He and his antiquated, obsolete ideology are an absolute joke.

Coal is cheaper and can be burned in a way that it doesn't pollute like it used to, thats also called new technology and using fossil fuels in a responsible way can be more affordable and not bankrupt our entire country.

China leads the world in renewable energy? IS THAT WHY THEY HAD TO TURN OFF THEIR FACTORIES FOR WEEKS BEFORE THE OLYMPICS TO CLEAN THE POLLUTION OUT OF THE CITIES. They use more coal, and have no clean burning technology, that is their problem. We have enough coal to last for another century.

No one said stop using them immediately. The jobs of the future don't rest in the technology of the past. The only way to get back on top is to lead, not follow. We can't continue to let the corporations bleed every last dime out of an industry to the detriment of progress. It's bad for the nation.

Coal needs to be bankrupt, sticking with fossil fuels is making us a follower instead of a leader. Germany and China lead on Renewable Energy and they are going to lead the world if we don't get off these nasty fuels. Time to move one people.
