"Shinjuku Southern Terrace at Night - September 15th, 2009"

The Southern Terrace near Shinjuku Station. Strangely, the border between Shinjuku-ku and Shibuya-ku is the street right by the South Exit, so this is actually in Shibuya-ku (going strictly by the address).

Good to see this night shot of Southern Terrace Exit. I will be visiting Japan in a couple of months and will be taking N'EX to Shinjuku Station and directions to my hotel say to take Southern Terrace exit...and it will be dark like this when I arrive! Thanks!

If you tell me the hotel name, I can do a video walking from the station platform to the hotel. I think I might know which hotel - I just recently helped a couple find one right by the Southern Terrace - Hotel Sun Route? - LHS

Yes! Hotel Sunroute Plaza! That would be really awesome if you did a walking vid to the hotel, but please only if you happen to be in that area. I wouldn't want you to go out of your way for a (silly) tourist. :)

It's no trouble, and I could have done that today, but I didn't see your message until after I got back home. I'll be out and about on Monday though and I can drop by Shinjuku and do it then. Is that on time though? [Checking earlier message...] Oh - in a couple of months, so there's time enough. I think I'll get it done on Monday, but if not, definitely sometime next week. - LHS

If they're hiding, they're doing a good job, because I didn't see them! But yes, there are many couples in the area. There's a StarBucks nearby and people sit along the walkway, etc. - LHS
