run away young man...she obviously needs to work out some things BEFORE she enters a relationship with a man. Perfect bible verse TMOT. This is exactly what I was thinking. How can you say that you care for someone and try to emasculate them at the same time? These two things just don't go together.

I am saying thanks to all of the people who will turn and do the right thing just because you are willing to take the time out to educate our young people as well as some of these older folks who still don't have it together..... Very good advice. Personally, an ugly personality will kill any sort of attraction I have towards someone every time.
For the gentleman who asked the question, the separation will be a bit painful for him at first, but he will be better for it in the end. There are some things that are just non-negotiable in a relationship and I think a consistent pattern of verbal abuse with no movement towards positive change is one of those things.

He has written some extensive explanations to me. I don't think alcohol is involved. I think it is just one of those situations where someone loves somebody at the expense of their own feelings. I have seen it many times.
