Also, the name of Macintosh being Bicycle would have made it even more unique. I like the name of Bicycle better than Macintosh, for the sole purpose of the 1984 machine, of course.

@FirebrandNIRE He didn't own the company. After the IPO of 1980, Apple was owned by the shareholders (and still is) and controlled by a board of directors.
