yea well if the pass is really big maybe almost the whole distance of the board or there are areas for the enemy to get ontop of the pass and ambush the defenders down below. that would make the pass harder to hold and more senarios would play out depending on your defence-offence strategy

You might want to throw in maybe some huge crystals coming out of the ground, in a superman fortress of solitude kinda look. I'm sure shawn at blue table painting has some vids showing how to make them. You might have to dig abit because he's got like 400 vids. Definitely awesome table though.

thats actually a pretty cool idea but it would make all the battles play out the same.

you should have the mountain going through the middle and then carve some sort of big pass like in what you see in 300 but in a more open v shape.

I think your fine with what you have. You don't want mountains makes it hard to transport.

thats so good! im enjoying watching it come together, havent seen many series vids as good as this. cant wait to see it finished. I think its deep enough as is, and the hills can just be sat on top?

You should leave it as it is, unless like you said its not high enough for the mountain you are wanting. Great board and I like the winter theme you are hoping for. Great vid and keep them coming.
