NO ROUTER NEEDED!

UPDATED:
4/27/11
Uses for this kind of small network:
-Xbox/PS3 easy to connect to
-Mobile devices etc also easy to connect to

Possible Scenario?:
Wireless router in basement. Computer is on 2nd floor. Your room on 3rd floor. Wifi doesn't reach 3rd floor, but reaches 2nd floor. Do this video on the computer on the 2nd floor, and connect to it from 3rd floor. Acts like a bridge eh?

  • Excuse me...When I got to "Set up a new connection", It doesn't have "Set up a wireless ad hoc network), Why?

  • @DojoMinecraft maybe your computer doesnt have the hardware to actually set up the ad-hoc network. thats the only logical explanation

  • Does this work for the Playstation 3 Slim

  • @LaoBoi1216 yes, anything (mobile devices, laptops, ps3s) will work with this, as long as your computer can set it up, and if your device can pick up WIFIZ

  • @somewhatnormalguy it still dosent work for my play station slim

  • @LaoBoi1216 its either your computer's hardware, or the ps3. i have one myself and ive done this before so its probably your computer
