@conradsz It's not like bassist isn't creative, but it can be aswell pressure from a band or producer. I have the same problem sometimes, "they" just want me to play easier stuff or just to follow guitar line.

What I hate about DM is that the bass basically follows the guitars. Very unimaginative. To have a bassist like Trujillo and not use his skills fully is a shame.
