This is one of my favourite blues songs. I like your cover - great guitar. Came out OK on youtube - bet it would be fantastic live. Don't care about sandals!
Good stuff.

Hey guys- don't worry about the negatives. You got a little bar, some support and playing some blues. The late Hock Walsh was a monster, quite a force and cut 'shotgun' in the late '60s. Downchild had two great vocalists, Hock and Tony Flaim, who are both gone, but Donnie Walsh keeps the band going.
Anyway, just keep playing.

Actually, this song predates Guns 'n Roses' debut album by about twenty or twenty-one years. It was written by Downchild Blues Band and famously covered by The Blues Brothers (captured on the 1978 album Briefcase Full of Blues).

How could I know if I liked it if I didn't watch it? I watched it. Now I know I don't like it. Real bluesmen don't wear birkenstocks. Hushpuppies, MAYBE, but not birkenstocks.

Well, it's unfortunate that you judge the caliber of a musician by the clothes that he wears.

I think John Belushi just rolled over in his grave.

If you don't like it, don't watch it. Thanks for the input.
