If VH1 ever does another rendition of Behind The Music, Wilson Phillips needs to get on there. They've been through a lot together--from dysfunctional parents (Beach Boys/Mamas & Papas) and their drug problems/abuse, Carnie's weight problems, and Chynna's departure from the group, and the emotional comeback.

To my Dad, there's not a day that goes by that I wish you and I were still in each other's life. We're not perfect. We're both too proud to admit our wrongdoings, and admit that we have hurt each other in the process. We have missed out on so much of our lives. Yet, in my heart, I still long for the day when we can see each other again and just talk to each other, and focus on the here and now. That's what matters. I miss you so much, Dad, and I love you. I'll always be your little buddy

This song made me realize that despite I'd grew up without having my father physically close, he always loved me and he always will! Thank you so much Wilson Phillips for this great song! It means a lot to all those ones who never had their father physically there.

i never had a relationship with my father till this day and till this day everytime i hear this song, it makes me cry. this is such a beautiful song and the SHADOWS AND LIGHT album is a very sad cd but very moving and there best cd! :)
