Did I hear the hat came from a strasburg visit? Are you guys local to the area? I frequent strasbug a lot!

This video is very evocative of The Boy's Train Club Flyer produced back in the fifties. Yep, the boys really make this video, although you locomotives, rolling stock, and accessories are great too. It really reminded me of how the fifties would have been if I were a boy back then. Good job!

That is a wonderful layout. AF were toys not models and kids loved them. I did. I am as old as most of the trains and now I am collecting again for the enjoyment of my grand children. Dave S.

I got a Flyer from my dad and I have kept it working although not brand new looking as yours. I like the way you brought out the 50's look when toys were (colorful) toys and fun to play with. I like prototypical modeling but that's serious stuff and perfection can sometimes be frustrating. Thanks for showing the other buildings that i don't have. It just completes a picture perfect scene. Keep up the good work

I love it., My whole club sat down and watched and enjoyed. This is a beautiful layout. I like how you capture how Flyer was made to be played with.
Thanks for your kind words, your AF video's are fantastic!
I think the charm of my video revolves around the boys
who are running the trains. They are toys to be played with and enjoyed by children. They were allowed to walk on the platform when ever they wanted to. They played with the scenery and interacted with the trains. The following year I switched over to LGB
Playmobile and lowered the platform to 24". Video is
from 1998. Boys love trains when they can play with them.
