The Canons flailed, we could not wait.
We decided to go to the dock town.
In that town we did debate and somehow we got the ship right back.
On the ship and on port side little men move in line
with the records of the ocean, and the travels at hand
we had ten banjos in a shipwreck band.
It was a pleasant voyage we spun around
a pleasant voyage we spun around
a pleasant voyage we spun around
until the sea had come to take us down.
In the hold of the wind and ships debris
what an unfair accommodation
the storm raged on to an evil degree
and dragged us lads into the sea
heads on deck and hands in line
a vicious delegation
For a madman of a captain I am
We had ten banjos in a shipwreck band
It was a pleasant voyage we spun around.
