@pimpdalyrical - No, it's 200B, 20B is just the initial payment. The sum of all payments that BP has agreed to make is 200B.

BP is already building an LPG (Propane) and CNG (Compressed Natural Gas) infrastructure for our vehicles. Diesel Locomotives could easily be switched to CNG. However, there are enough gas vehicles on the road that gas prices would spike with Green initiatives. BP would capitalize by drilling elsewhere and importing.

Granted that's alot of money for an industry with such low profit margins, but it's nothing compared to what BP will make with their Green intitiative crap if Obama can cripple our petroleum based infrastructure.

@pimpdalyrical - IDK if I agree with you, BP is set up to shell out 200B for this disaster. I agree that BP is definitely retooling inside the US borders for cap and trade. However, cap and trade doesn't effect them on a global scale, and they'd be making trillions off of drilling elsewhere around the world, and importing it here at a hugely inflated price. However, BP doesn't want this money in the hands of PetroBras.
