For the longest time I've wanted to do these "share the love," videos, but I simply didn't have enough viewers and I wasn't sure it would be worth it to those I tried to promote!! Now I've got almost 1000 subs (thanks to some of the lovely women who helped ME with MY channel! Heather, Jess, Gabby, and all the girlfriends I've made through LHC posts!...), which is so cool and perfect because I have plenty of YT friends to share with now!

My idea is this:
Send me a message if you want a "shout out," either privately or under this video! I'm going to try and do one every week/every other week, depending on my schedule. I'll get to EVERYONE who's interested, I promise, but be patient with me! School is starting and I'll probably be quite busy with my daughter as September approaches!

I love all things "hair," but its not the only subject matter I follow here on YT. I'm subbed to all sorts of beauty "gurus," news channels, comedy channels, arts and crafts (and all sorts of diy vids), book and movie reviews, ghost hunting, cooking...etc...
So if you watch my vids, are subscribed, and enjoy them, but make videos that have nothing to do with hair, don't worry! I'd still be more then happy to check out your channel and share some love with ya! LOL

I'm also interested in shouting out websites (blogs included!) you may be a part of, and/or any small, sort of at home (etsy type) businesses that you guys may have! If I can help pass some word along, I will!

I'll still be doing my hair videos, posting my summer vlogs from Crete, and doing any other video stuff that randomly pops into my head, in between putting up these "share the love vids."

I'm going to make a new playlist on my channel, specifically for these videos, so if you don't see one in your subscription box, for whatever reason, you can just go there to find them!

Hopefully you guys will be as excited about this as I am! And if it doesn't pan out I'll just continue with my channel as usual!

  • Came to your channel initially looking for hairstyling advice for my sister who has frizzy hair, which she tends to be ashamed of.

Despite that you not do anything for that kind of hair, I still watched your vids because you have a lovely personality. Look forward to seeing you do more things on youtube.

  • @rggrey Well thank you for such a nice comment! I'm sorry your sis is having trouble managing her hair! Sometimes its just a matter of finding the right styling products! Can I ask what her hair type is? I can talk to my gf for you, she's a professional stylist and I'm sure she'll have some great tips!

  • @LaDollyVita33 =D

She has fragile, dry, frizzy and tightly curled hair in parts which often gets into a tangled mess. She tends to keep it under shoulder length. Difficult to describe, perhaps i'll send you a picture through facebook when she gets home at the end of the month. Thanks for the advice :)

  • @rggrey Yes please, send a picture so I can then forward it on to my gf. Perhaps your sister is someone who'd benefit greatly from those keratin treatments. Sometimes they're a little pricey, but you can get an at home kit from Organix. I almost bought it tonight actually!

A decent hair brush and some hair oil could help too. I love Biosilk, morrocan oil and argan, which is the heaviest, also the nicest smelling and probably would be great for dry, thirsty hair. If she could stay away from heat

  • @rggrey that might help too. Plus curls are tricky. They don't like to be brushed out. She should try detangling before she washes it, and then she shouldn't brush at ALL when she comes out of the shower. Wet hair is delicate, and wet curly hair is even more fragile! She can get a cap to wear over her hair when she sleeps too, so it won't get tangled. And of course she should use the most gentle hair elastics possible. Taking vitamin E, biotin and or gelatin supplements are fantastic, rinsing...

  • @rggrey with cold water only, no hot!, and eating lots of jello could help! I have a jello a day now, and they make them sugar free, so you don't feel like you're breaking your diet or something! Hope some of this helps! Oh and wide tooth combs are great for curly hair!
