@WoWrofllolz The FPS in minecraft really doesnt mean much, somebody I know has an Intel Xeon (six core) with a gtx 460 (same as 570) and only gets 30 fps, but never lags.

@ArmoredRogue Ohhh, woops lol. Was running 32-bit java, got 64-bit and now i'm getting 300fps lol, thanks :D

@WoWrofllolz I'm guessing it's more of a processor and perhaps ram thing then it is about what GPU you have, also having the right version of java wouldn't hurt either. x3

Is Minecraft more of a processor thing? cos I've got a gtx 580 and get like 70fps, seems a bit low. While I have a stock i5 2500k, would this determine the fps?

@pingu1444 Something to do with recording with fraps I believe, they stay above 200 when I'm not recording :)
