I know it starts off slow, but it gets better later on in the vid.

This video loosely focuses on what can happen when children are over-sheltered, and what the potential for the amount of control parents have over their kids is.

Truth be told, it's something I feel strongly about. Over-sheltering kids until they move out just sets them up for failure, and there's no one to blame but the parents.

Story behind it:
This wasn't even supposed to be an AMV; I was playing with random effects, and I needed a song to listen to, and this happened to be the song... and after a minute the song started matching up with the video, so I started building on that... and this is the result.

Now, for you to fully understand what's going on in the video, you'll probably need to read this explanation.

[00:26] to [00:55]- This is Kovu's nightmare/dream. What's going on in the song is what Zira's telling him. AND I KNOW, I SCREWED UP AT 00:43. I didn't want you to be just staring at nothing there, so that's why I put that there... it didn't work very well, did it?
[00:55] to [01:22]- This is Zira reinforcing what she said in the dream.

[01:45] to [02:05]- Their plan is put into action. The lines 'pay no mind to the rabble' are Zira reminding Kovu what she taught him, but he chickens out anyway.

[02:06] to [02:13]- This is Zira's dream/imagination.

[02:20] to [02:46]- Nuka's trying to make Zira happy, so he's repeating what he heard from her when he was growing up.

[02:47] to [02:54]- Zira punishes Kovu for running off when he was supposed to help them. Then, she rallies the rest of the lions for another attack, and Kovu criticizes her.

[02:56] to [03:08]- They carry out their plan without Kovu, but Simba escapes again. Ironically, Zira tells Kovu to stay out of it.

The part with Scar and Simba is Simba reminiscing on how something similar happened with him and his father.
