Located in Sebatu Village (40km from Denpasar), Sebatu Temple, home to tame monkeys and fruit bats, is one of the three most important and beautiful Hindu temples owned and maintained by the villagers of Bali, dedicated to the Hindu Thrinity. This particular temple is dedicated to Brahma, the God of Creation. Sebatu Village is also known for the inspiring creativity of the villagers, especially in regards to creating remarkable woodcarvings, along with other various handicrafts (which can be seen displayed, and for sale, in countless shop around the village) and is famous amongst the Balinese people for the superiority of its Gamelan orchestra :]
