Jonas Brothers: A Love Story Chap 9

???: What I'm not allowed to come see my favorite little sister?
Leighton: I'm your only sister, Ryan.
Ryan: Haha alright, you got me there.
Leighton: What are you doing here anyways? Aren't you supposed to be at college?
Ryan: Well yeah, but Mom and Dad called me yesterday and told me I had to come home for a few days because they had important news.
Leighton: Haha, well I guess we better go inside and hear what they have to say.
Ryan and Leighton walked into their house and saw their Mom, Dad, and, their 2 younger brothers, Peter and Josh, sitting on the couch, but thats all there was, one couch, everything else in the house was gone.
Ryan: Woah, are we remodeling? Where is all of our stuff?
Mom: Oh good you two are finally home, come sit down with Peter and Josh
Leighton and Ryan sat down on their couch totally confussed, their crazy 8 year old twin brothers weren't even saying anything, which definaltly gave them a clue that something was up.
Mom: Well you guys, um, I don't know how to put this, but your father's company is moving him, moving us.
Leighton: Moving us where?
Dad: Dallas, Texas.
Leighton: NO, not happening, sorry I won't do it.
Mom: Hunny, you have no choice.
Leighton couldn't believe it, no way was she leaving her life behind here. She ran up to her room, looking forwar to plopping on her huge bed, but the second she opened the door, all she could see was an empty room.
Leighton: MOM!!
Mom: What sweetie?
Leighton: Where is all of my stuff?!?!
Mom: The movers have taken it all and started their way down to Texas
Leighton: Wait, then when are we leaving?
Mom: Our flight leaves at 9 am tomorrow morning.
Leighton: I have to go, I'll be back later tonight, bye.
Leighton ran out of her house, what was she going to do, she loved New Jersey, she loved her school and her house, and more importantly, her friends. She hopped into her car and after driving around aimlessly for about half an hour until her phone rang, it was Kylie.
Leighton: Hey Ky.
Kylie: Hey girl, what are you up too.
Leighton: Just driving around really.
Kylie: Why?
Leighton: I can't be in my house right now, I'll tell you about it later
Kylie: Well do you wanna hang out now?
Leighton: Yeah, that'd be great.
Kylie: K, just come to my house right now.
Leighton hung up and turned around, headed for Kylie's. She almost started to cry, thinking that this could be the last time she ever hung out with her best friend. She pulled up to Kylie's house and let herself in, since Kylie's family was basically her family. She said hi to her mom and dad and her little sister Daisy, and headed upstairs to Kylie's room.
Kylie: Hey what's up
Leighton: I'm moving.
Kylie: your what?
Leighton: moving.
Kylie: WHATT?!?! where?
Leighton: Dallas.
Kylie: Dallas, TEXAS?
Leighton: Yep.
Kylie: when?
Leighton: Tomorrow.
Kylie: Youre lying
Leighton: I really wish I was Ky.
Kylie ran and hugged Leighton and they both cried. They couldnt believe they were about to lose their best friend. They called Caitlin and she was over within 2 seconds and they told her the news. The 3 girls went out and bought pizza, ice cream, and just about every junk food out there along with there favorite movies and hung out all night, until Leighton had to leave for her flight.
*Later that day - Joe and Kevin invited Caitlin and Kylie over to their house (keep in mind none of the Jonas' know Leighton moved)*
Kylie and Caitlin showed up at their house, and from being so upset about Leighton, walked in the house slowly and sadly.
Kevin: Hey why the long faces?
Caitlin: Nothing.
Kylie: We just miss Leighton.
Joe: Well I mean I guess you guys can invite her over here if you wanna see her that bad.
Kylie: We can't *started to cry*
Joe: Woah woah woah what is going on?
Caitlin: Leighton's gone. *starts to cry*
Kevin: Gone where?
Caitlin & Kylie: *throught their tears* Texas.
Joe: What?
Kylie: She moved to Dallas this morning, i guess her parents told her last night and now..now she's gone forever. *cries harder*
Joe and Kevin didn't know what to do, how to comfort the girls and to make things more complicated, Nick had just come down stairs.
Nick: Yooo, whats with all the crying?
Joe: Their just sad about the whole Leighton thing.
Nick: What whole Leighton thing?
Kevin: Um.. maybe Kylie should tell you..
Nick: Kylie, whats going on?
Kylie: Leighton's gone.
Nick: What do you mean, gone where?
Kylie: Texas
Nick: What? What is she doing in Texas.
Kylie: She lives there now.
Nick: What are you talking about?
Kylie: When she went home yesterday, her parents dropped the bomb and now, now shes already gone.
Nick: Why didnt she tell me?
Kylie: Nick--I'm..I'm really sorry
Nick turned around and grabbed his keys and went to walk out the door.
Nick: Dont wait up
