In 2008 Cliff L'Aimable gained a citation entry on the WIKIPEDIA encyclopedia for his publication work promoting the "Shard of Glass" project ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shard_of... ) the only UK Building Control Official to do so, reinforcing his established enthusiatic credibility in the discipline of Building Control study. This pilot webcast was produced to assist in a programme of seminars taking "Surveying Awareness" into schools alongside other fire safety education training currently being administered by the London Fire Brigade to Primary and Junior Schools. Southwark Building Control is a member of the London District Surveyors Association (LDSA)and Cliff L'Aimable is a consultant construction specialist assisting in the re-structuring of service delivery to this leading London based authority. UPDATE: Further project overview seminars are currently being run on this project from the Royal Victoria events suite in Londons Docklands for those interested in tall buildings as well as other general residential developments. He currently is the Chairman (Southern Region) of the Association of Building Engineers.
