Thanks for posting this. Hopefully there are enough lawmakers with the foresight to stop these attempts to develop this section of the island. This is a large tourist attaction as well as a draw for the residents. Please don't limit this to a select few. This area should belong to the people of Oahu and Hawaii.

Mahalo for this video that captures the special beauty of the entire Ka Iwi region -- from mauka to makai.
This is not just a shoreline issue. Building 183 cabins on the Ka Iwi hillsides would spoil this last accessible open space on Oahu.
Resort-like development is NOT an appropriate use of preservation-zoned land.
