Sonic 1 song in Sonic Unleashed?

This is a comparison a video I made comparing the song from Sonic 1 for the Master System and Game Gear with Sonic Unleashed. There is quiet resemblance!

EDIT: When I uploaded this video I noticed that I wasn't the only one that noticed this similarity XD.

dude they just try to disguise songs like that in other games like in silver the hedgehog they have that same tune but deeper and in shadow the hedgehog a song in that sounded familiar.so there you go

@kati4501 It's obvious that Silver's theme from Sonic '06 was a remix of Green Hill Zone. I don't know which Shadow the Hedgehog song you're talking about though, since I've heard pretty much all of 'em throughout my life and I don't see any resemblance with the classic songs.

@axelrudipel Actually, only the bridge of Silver's theme sounds like Green Hill Zone, and Lee admits it was an accident, but a happy one.

With Shadow the Hedgehog, though, one of the SA2 songs (was it Mr Unsmiley? Can't remember…) was reused for the mutliplayer section, and it was the original recording. He's probably referring to that one.

I actually have.

Not every Sonic fan is a 12 year old, you know.

I've been playing Sonic since I learnt how to use a Megadrive Controller, and that was back in 1996.

Even before then, I watched my father play Sonic 1 and 2, along with Altered Beast and Streets of Rage 2.

A massive precentage.

Most fan characters are just unoriginal 12 year old idiots who slap a different color on Sonic and claim him to be a new character, usually Sonics 'Long lost brother' or something.

Unfortunately, its the price to pay when Sonics fanbase is filled with Newfags who know nothing of the series.

Not to sound like a hipster, but I've been playing Sonic since 1996 and been a fan since, so I'm probably one of the oldest members of the Sonic fanbase.
