Barbara Kopple took three years of backstage filming, staged some inserts, and produced a propaganda film that the Red Cross should have sued them over, along with many others. Natalie used her mouth and her money to bash anyone who recognized her disingenuous statements for what they were, including those that helped them get started, her hometown, Buddy Holly's memory, and the C&W genre itself.
