China Peasant Army Fights Brim Full Lake - June 2003
Oh but to love a line so nice birthed in such confusion
And ready to be lost so quickly!

Dadada, one could chant,
But that misses the play the games
Of subject and object this one line displays.

I am a carbon noter that’s scribbled on someone else’s napkin
I am a fragment of the meant, painted imagination,
Scrolled over photographs on internet and watched the weakening walls-
Fiction is stronger and fact is faded and soon we will all be cameos
In someone else’s fan fic shows!

There, nothing to do to stop the view to stop the march of fictions
Heroes and villains all will become and all will lose our grounding
And day by day get flatter and with less to motivate us
The faces of men will be four color and the women will all defy the laws of gravity

In Zurich I think the dada men
Placed an eggshell crack in the sum of minds
And pretty soon that crack will become a flood that we’ll all drown in
When the masks arise and nobody still has their name from birth left given
Oblivion will not matter because we’ll all be science fiction.
