3 days ago I went to Lowes and bought a black ledger board ($3), a black laminated table top ($15), 2 black heavy duty steel gate hinges ($10), a 4-pack of toggle bolts ($5), and 6 heavy gauge black bolts/nuts/washers ($6).

I drilled the ledger in to the drywall (no studs) using the toggle bolts, attached the hinges to the ledger, and bolted the top to the hinges. In 3 hours or so (I measured about 20 times), I had a fold away table top that is rock solid and it cost me <$40.

I would buy 3 of these if they weren't so ridiculously overpriced.

@newtableconcept I agree with everything you said here except the table I built is not sensitive to weight. At least, it can hold me (160lb) with no problem.

It is a nice project with the white board and light.

It is a classic folding table with hinges, chain, hooks and it is sensitive to the weight on it.

As I said, if bolts and hinges work for you, great.

For myself I wanted something different: practical, easy to use but, at the same time, with style and design. Such foldable table was not available, therefore I made it.

Many people appreciated the new table concept, as a result I started to commercialise it.
