When she was 15, Deborah Finley was sitting on a couch next to her father when a man walked into the room and murdered him with a shot gun. She was untouched. "Due to the trauma, she was no longer able to speak and the doctors said she may never speak again. But due to the power of her grandmas prayers she was able to speak again, she said. I dedicated a whole chapter to her called, Power of a Grandmas Prayers. Happiness is from happenings, but i found something deeper than happiness which is joy that can remain despite your circumstances. It was when Finley realized that God didn't make the bad happen-instead he helps people through the bad that she began to be rescued. Where there once was sorrow, I now have joy; where there once was fear, I now have peace, where there once was hurt, I now have wholeness, and instead of inferiority I now have confidence. After a life changing encounter that transformed her future from darkness to light, she learned to walk in a higher realm of life. She wants you to know that this power is available for you. My motto is life's too short to be too serious, I had enough of that, and that laughter should be at the top of your list of things to do so you don't forget to do it it regularly. Even science agrees: If you laugh more your immunity system grows stronger, your memory can become sharper, it reduces stress, etc. decreases depression.
