My favorite part of Tchaikovsky's ballet. The image represents Alain Honorez from The Royal Ballet of Flanders' production of Sleeping Beauty (also one of my favorites).

  • All the music in Sleeping Beauty is beautiful. However, did you realise that the spine-chilling final two minutes of the Wedding music isn't actually Tchaikovsky's work at all - it's the original national anthem of France, i.e. the king's anthem before the revolution. Its makes for a spectacular ending. He included it to impress the Tsar, who was related to the Bourbons who ruled France up to the revolution. Some French people in the audience apparently used to stand when they heard it.

  • @MegaJpeck I had no idea! Thanks for that!

  • I Looooove this Part in the movie. And i love this music so much!!

I love all disney movies but sleeping beauty is one of my favourites.

  • Why are all the videos by the same artist all from the Disney movie? What if we want more of the REAL score? (I know, I can look in the related videos, or I can just search for a piece, but it just bugs me that Disney played with the score.)

  • so magical!!!! my favorite is Maleficent's music in the disney version, its so beautiful and creepy at the same time.

  • Ok, I'm officially addicted to this music!

  • @MegaJpeck Tchaikovsky seems to like France a bit.

  • @turxxx

Chopin was never powerful - I have no idea how you could accord him the same platform as the former two maestros... especially Beethoven, who is known for his strength in his work.

  • This music gives me chills. It's so powerful!

Tchaikovsky, Beethoven and Chopin rule my world.
