@ThePeaceMissile no according the bible you are suppose to love your enemy and forgive them Of course as a human being that would be very very hard to do. that is why you would need to pray and get counseling and meditate.

Piper missed the whole point of the passage here! So sad. This is not about harboring the wrath in our soul by compatmentalizing it into a "God will bring fire down on you one day, so to hell you go". Rather it is about not being consumed by revenge. In forgiveness & prayer for our enemies soul, we are working towards being reconciled in love. By love we do not mean being a doormat to one attacking our family members. Love requires physical defense sometimes but not w/anger that eats one's soul.
