@Steller1980 At that far in the game the difficulty switch does not really change much, it is just simply hard as hell. Like BGRerobachi, alamone actually died and recovered on the final stage before Disrupt, which is something I have never been able to do....
1:28: Epic graze on Dellinger Core! It's a shame that ram attack was not in the arcade version.
Never would I have thought that there was an aggressive way of timing out Disrupt.......and you are freaking nuts for handling Shadow Gear like you did. Makes me surprised that I beat it at all with the way I did it.....
That last stage alone is so damned long and at times very frustrating, it includes the boss rush crazily enough. Still an awesome game with it's share of problems and one that I'll play as much as I can for a lifetime.
The speed stage after the last boss is crazily out of place too, the only Gradius game besides Salamander 1 that has an escape part that you have to do yourself, the rest of the games always threw them towards the middle to latter parts of the games.

@Seahawk0027 You run on that game was done on the hardest setting and so I don't blame you for playing safe.
