Video instructions on how to tie a prusik knot on the end of a rope without having to use an existing loop. This is a helpful friction knot used in climbing / self rescue, tightening guy lines or clothes lines, or for creating an adjustable line on things like kites or crafts. The demonstration uses climbing rope and narrow cord, but this technique can be used on smaller lines of the same size with similar effect.
