After a tradgedy we really need the good character of people to shine through. This weekend it was the good character of fifteen Jackson Christian School seniors from Jackson, Tennessee that took them on a four hour trip to storm ravaged Central Mississippi where they spent countless hours assisting families suffering from Saturday's deadly tornado. Principal Scott Gatlin and former Kosciusko resident, Mike McCafferty, were amazed at the students' eagerness and generosity to travel such a great distance to help in any way they could. Once on the scene, they offered manual labor to clean up yards. They also provided food and water. Everywhere they went they held a prayer. Their uplifting spirits certainly made a difference in the lives of many Mississippians this weekend. What a shining example of good character in action. Thank you to: Principal Gatlin, Mike McCafferty and students: Meredith Beach, Payton Bryant, Dillon Coplin, Akina Evans, Connor Flynn, Jamie Gatlin, Joong-Hoon Kim, Gilbert Leon, Drennan Mayberry, Michael McCafferty, Stan McCafferty, Kaliegh Miller, Kevin Pugh, Ashley Reid and Nathan Warren. Michael and Stan McCafferty are former students of Kosciusko High School.
