Red really suits this car perfectly, every car has it's special colour where it looks best in, red is definatly a perfect colour for this beauty!

@godwhomismike All the reviewers talk about the hard plastic interior. I myself think that is irrelevant. Personally, I think it has a great look inside and out. What is your overall view for the interior fit and finish?

@mikerules666 I am very happy with the interior. My old 2009 Subaru Forester XT Limited had a ton of creaks and rattles in the interior. The interior in the Kia Sportage SX is very quiet, no rattles, no creaks, and I find the materials to be very good. There is plastic, but it looks good. Honestly, I never notice it because the vehicle is very engaging to drive.

@godwhomismike Thank you very much. It is so helpful to get reviews of a vehicle from a real world owner instead of those magazine reviewers. I'm glad you like it so much. I will have to go and test drive one now. A few more questions. How is the performance of the vehicle? Does it handle well? How is the acceleration?

@mikerules666 I assume you are looking at the turbocharged SX (All Wheel Drive) model. The turbo in here makes a lot of power, and also makes all of its 269 lb feet of torque at just 1850 rpm. Because of that, it feels very powerful all of the time. The 6 speed automatic is very smooth as well. The suspension is very firm, and handles very well. It blows the Forester XT (FXT) out of the water. The FXT made its peak torque (224 lb ft) at 2800 rpm, and was gutless below that.

@mikerules666 The ride is very good, it uses 87 octane fuel (I notice better fuel economy (not performance) with higher grade fuel though. I generally use 87 octane, and get about 23-24 mpg (70% highway). I have a very heavy foot, so I assume most people can easily do better than that. 8600 miles, I have had no issues whatsoever. The seats are supremely comfortable, the driver seat cooler is great in the summer, the audio is excellent (The FXT sounded like an alarm clock radio)
