Great Lakes Ships was written by David MacAdam in and around 1984. This video has footage of working men and women on The Great Lakes, their ships and tugs. The footage was shot at The Welland Canal, Goderich Harbour and Toronto Harbour. "Here's to the boys who sail on Great Lakes Ships... and here's to the woman that's left behind."

First time I saw this video was on Much Music in Toronto about the time dated. It is a good song and one that brings back a lot of memories of my dates Ship Spotting around the Great Lakes for about a decade. I currently live int the Uk and will be coming home next year and will resume my passion.I look very much forwards too the day I step foot on Canadian soil.
