The reason that they could survive the fall is because they are secretly training to be Dragoons like their hero... Kain Highwind!

I do realize that Kain comes along in the next game, I just thought it would work. :P

@capefeather Well yeah, FF3 DID come out first. You gotta wonder though, was that intentional? I unlikely that they'd base a whole Pokemon on a sprite that is on the screen for under 10 seconds. xD
