Wagon Wheel - Billiards Draw Drill

Paul Potier, the Canadian professional, showed me this very challenging drill designed to improve draw shot accuracy.

The idea is to progress around the table, as shown, attempting to sink the ball into the side pocket and in the same shot to direct to the cue ball into the next ball in rotation on the rails. Score 1 for each shot taken. Lowest score possible is 12, and I am working toward that goal. This video shows 20 shots. My first attempt was over 50 shots. It can get frustrating, but if you stick with it, your total shots will come down fast.

I understand the drill point, but are you using half ball its and gradually use top right? Then Side Spin, BR Draw, CEnter Draw then BL Draw? I want to practice but I can't see how you are doing this. My guess.

great drill and video, as i was watching the last few balls, i noticed that the draw was a lot better when the stick goes down towards the table on the follow through. on the ones u messed up, the follow through went upwards. just an observation that might help. enjoy watching your videos

@fastmikie69 I think I figured some of it out, some top will hit the first 3, with stun at an angle. the the sides would would be kinda top right, 1pm,2pm,3pm 4pm,5pm, I think I got it. So what this does is help devolope a deeper knowledge on your angles you can use to figure which is the best to continue the next shot.

One problem here is that the cueball isn't always in the same position. Some shots it's closer to the object ball and on some shots there's less angle. You can get rid of the final ball that's hanging in the side too because it's too hard to hit if you're maintaining the original cut angle.

I do this drill by myself. I find that while I am going around the table to pull the ball out I am thinking about my shot and also I am reminding myself to set up properly etc. Now the most important thing to do while you are going around the table to pull the ball out of the pocket is to keep your eyes on the table because if your looking around the room your eyew take time to adjust to the table when you set up the shot again.You all ways have eyes on table (stalking that ball !)

@Bladerunner55217 my new method for dealing with negativity here is to simply delete the comments and not bother engaging the trolls, as it does no good whatsoever. I like your suggestion, but without the seeds, as they get stuck in my teeth and take my focus away from the game... :)
