This tutorial is exemplary. Simplicity and informative along with pedagogical skills make this one of the best. You could teach most of the tutorials a thing or two.

After you paste in your image, make sure you are on that level, then press ctrl-t to transform. Then you can drag the corners of the image to make it bigger and cover the whole picture.
