Dear NHL aren't these the same hit? Hamhuis on Lucic 6/1/11 Marchand on Salo 1/7/12

Hamhuis' clipping hit on Lucic on Game 1 of the Stanley Cup Final between the Boston Bruins and Vancouver Canucks

Then Brad Marchand's clipping hit on Sammy Salo on Jan 7th, 2012 between the same teams

Everyone is complaining about Marchands hit because Sammy "Make of glass" Salo apparently was hurt, but tossed his stick like a pouting little girl after rolling around on the ice for 30 seconds making sure he got the call, then skated off under his own power. These are the same exact hit. One was called a perfectly legal check...the other resulted in a 5 minute major and a likely suspension. Congrats on the Game 8 win Vancouver...ohh wait that doesn't exist and we're still the Stanley Cup Champs!
