VOTE FOR OUR COUNTRY'S SAKE
by Thomas Easaw
Now that the elections are here
Too close, too very near
I know there's no time to talk ,
Else, I would have kept on talking all day
All that you have is a minute
and me, I have two in a song
Me and my guitar, singing this song
Wishing you would be joining along.
Themes, ideologies, parties
Do they all stand for the cause
For truth, for justice or peace
Or for the betterment of mankind
Or are they in the depths of corruption
Money, color, caste, creed and race
Vote for our country and not for your sentry
And vote for our country's sake.
Don't vote for the crooks and the fakes
But for our children, our future, our fate
Think of tomorrow and the future, today
Vote for our country's sake.
If they don't let us vote for the same
Just stand up in our country's name
Say, " Jai Hind" & "Sathyameva Jayathe"
And vote for our country's sake.

Young voters of India, well educated, very intelligent, expert surgeons, very good managers, skilled IT professionals, great entrepreneurs yet unfortunately
WE FAILED TO BE GOOD VOTERS. Should the duty of a citizen be over by just casting a vote once in 5 years? Each of the voters & citizens must continue the duty for 5 years. So what can we do and how? Questions and confusions clarified through many more videos Please watch for Srejan India YouTube Channel
Jai Hind!

Unfortunately in India we choose between crooks.
However I have hope for two constituencies that field intellectuals--South Mumbai (Meera Sanyal of ABN Amro) and Trivandrum (Sashi Tharoor, ex UN). Both candidates are great administrators with ethics. Let 18 to 21 year olds of South Mumbai and Trivandrum, make a decision to VOTE FOR THEIR COUNTRY RATHER THAN SENTRY as this song urges. If people like Tharoor and Sanyal (especially Sanyal) win, Indian politics would start to see cleaner times.
