One year ago, Solartron Energy Systems Inc. introduced the world to the first commercial available solar concentrator.
The new 15ft (4.5m) diameter SolarBeam is capable of providing 13kW (44,000 btu's) of thermal heat per hour. Unlike solar flat plate panels or evacuated tubes that lose efficiency with higher operating temperatures, the SolarBeam maintains a continuous 82% efficiency.
Solartron Energy has a market reach as far as Western Africa to Australia in addition to our North American market.
You will see an example of the SolarBeam providing heat for 3X 120 gallon tanks and a 1000 gallon tank for a national bottling plant.
cool vids .. i like it, really great keep it up!

Wow, you've reinvented the mirror and wrapped marketing music around it. Yay you. Let me guess, this will be the next "comment removed". It's breathless useless marketing types like you who interfere with those of us who are trying to find actual useful information online. You're not fooling anybody.

The SolarBeam can heat a 1,000 liter tank from 12 celcuis to 60 celcuis in 4 hours. That is a very powerful system. However, our target market is commercial and industrial users that require water temperatures above 60 celcuis. Since the SolarBeam maintains efficiencies of 82% even at water temperatures of 95 celcuis, it is a much better alternative to flat panels and evacuated tubes. In addition, by January 2011, the SolarBeam will be the only parabolic system that will have rebates.
