Flip - Vex Robot that Drives Upside Down

Flip is my third attempt at a non-autonomous robot built on the Vex platform. This robot is 4wd and it's large tires allow it to flip over when it meets an obstacle. In hindsite, this robot is very difficult to manuver. This is because the four motor steering requires the use of diagnal controls. Better would be dual motor (still 4wd) or custom programming.

cool now all you need is a gripper of a camera, then it will be the ultimate spying robot.

Hah! I think a gripper may not be too useful on a robot that can drive upside down, but actually we're working on a stationary gripper now.

you should try putting anothet brace on the outside of the wheels to prevent the axles from bending and omni directional wheels will help you stear better

if you put 2 omni wheels on the front it helps alot with steering

isn't that the exact same thing that comes with the basic kit? You know, the tumbler? (only difference i see is the wheels)

you can have a 4wd robot using tank controlls
