i wouldnt really be judging Steffen's riding... ya cause hes got some medals and world championships under his belt. that horse is a winner so i wouldnt say he is incorrectly flexed. if he was any higher in his head carriage he would be above the verticle.
on a lighter note! love contango babies. ive got a 5 yr old of his. haha ravel is his half brother. same head and ears.
Yeah, it's not the worst case ever but it can be seen that the horse is not "free" in front. Also the highest point of the horse is his crest, not his poll, which is indicative of incorrect flexion, perhaps overly foamy mouth (but I guess it depends on the horse) and the rider uses quite sharp hand aids at some points.

@dragonharte8 I don't see any signs of this horse being in hyperflection or trained with rollkur.

Just wish the judges would enforce Articles 401 and 417, for the sake of the horses.
