Weeds est une série télévisée américaine créée par Jenji Kohan, produite par Brian Dannelly et diffusée depuis le 8 août 2005 sur le réseau Showtime. En France, la série est diffusée depuis le 7 septembre 2006 sur Canal+ et en Suisse depuis le 23 septembre 2007 sur TSR1.

Histoire:

Confrontée à des difficultés financières à la suite du décès de son mari d'une crise cardiaque, une mère au foyer, Nancy Botwin, entreprend de vendre du cannabis à ses voisins. Mais dans la petite ville d'Agrestic, banlieue californienne fictive et bourgeoise où elle vit, les apparences et le conformisme prévalent. Elle essaie tant bien que mal de s'en sortir, mais tout ne va pas pour le mieux aussi bien dans ses « affaires » que dans sa vie familiale avec ses deux fils.

@cabanano11 Smoking weed is just as "bad" as drinking a beer or a cup of coffee.

Its a plant that grows in "god's nature" and no-one's ever died from using it. (you have more chances of dieing from eating peanuts according to some sources btw)
